Tan
Yogurt whisked with cold water and a pinch of salt until frothy. The drink for hot days, lahmajoun and barbecues.
Salty, sour and cold, tan is the answer to a heavy meal on a hot afternoon. It takes two minutes and you probably have everything already.
Some families add dried mint, some add a splash of sparkling water. Everyone agrees on the salt.

- Fizzy
- Replace some of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
Ask your grandparents
- Did we make tan at home or buy it?
- With mint or without?
